Bajón del Rio beach

This beach you will find to the north of the island of Fuerteventura, is in the middle of the strait that arrives at the islet of Lobos to only five minutes in boat from the port of Corralejo.

 Its waters are crystalline of between 15 to 18 meters of depth. We will see a background of golden sand and cliffs like high hills that are of volcanic origin. These have been eroded and sculpted by the waves for centuries.

It is home to a multitude of marine species such as black-tailed bream, grouper, goldfish and manta rays. Because there are strong currents it is not always possible to go diving, but when conditions are ideal, this can become one of the most beautiful dive sites in Europe.

 Del Jablito beach

 It is a beach of shallow waters that is located in the northwest of the island. Its bottom has areas of sand and other areas that are rocky. It is rich in marine life and almost throughout the year you will be able to observe different kinds of fish such as sea bream, old fish, parrot fish, goldfish, spider crabs and angelfish.

Jablito is approximately fifteen meters deep and you can easily reach its turquoise waters from the beach. It is surrounded by a very small village with houses inhabited by fishermen. Without doubt you will find tranquility coupled with the warmth of its people.

Veril Grande beach

This beach you will find in the south, just in front of the lighthouse of Jandía. Access is via a short boat ride.

Veril Grande has a natural formation that resembles a wall with caves inside it. The depth of the top of the wall is about 18 meters, reaching up to about 40 meters in its most abysmal. More than one dive is required to fully travel.

Here divers of all levels can do different types of dives depending on the level and experience of each. In its deep and crystalline waters you will have the possibility to swim among a multitude of marine species such as bream, morays, rays, black eels, garden eels and angel sharks. Sometimes large deep sea fish such as whale sharks and devil rays have been seen.

You can certainly have an unforgettable experience diving in the middle of the explosion of marine life that comes out of these caves.
